My account

Logging in or resetting your password

Select Log in (located at the top of every page) and use your email address and password to log in. You will know you have successfully logged in when your name appears at the top right of the screen.

If you need a new password, in the log-in box, select Reset your password and follow the prompts to receive a password reset email. The email you receive will contain a link to consumer.org.nz, where you will be asked to enter a new password and then to confirm your new password by re-entering it.

If you haven’t received an email within 5 minutes, check your junk/spam email folder or contact us.

Updating your contact details

Once you have logged in, go to Your account and select Edit to update your Profile.

Changing your membership type or payment frequency

Go to Your account and select Renew or change your membership. Follow the prompts to renew and queue your new membership.

Cancelling your automatic renewal or paying another way

Cancelling your membership

Log in and go to Your account. You will find the option to Cancel your membership at the end of the paid period.

When you cancel, your membership will finish at the end of your paid-up period with no further payments processed after that date.

Gifting a membership

You can gift a membership from Your account or under Membership on the About us tab in the main menu.

Unsubscribing from emails

You can unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of any of our emails or by going to Your account and selecting Manage your email preferences.

Please note, current members and Digital Pass holders will continue to receive important membership emails.

Your membership number

You can find your member ID in Your account.

Updating your payment details

You can update your credit card in Your account. To pay in a different way, please contact us.

Tax invoices/receipts

A tax receipt/confirmation for your purchase is automatically emailed to you after your payment has been processed. This is a tax receipt.
