What to do if you own a recalled bathroom heater

  • Check the back of your bathroom heater for its model number.

  • If it is model S2068, do not use it!

  • If the heater is just plugged into the wall, unplug it.

  • If it is wired into the wall, get an electrician to make it safe by isolating it from the electrical supply. If it’s model S2068, the supplier should cover the costs of this work. If they refuse, point out that you are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).

  • Contact the store where you bought your bathroom heater. A number of stores have voluntary recalls underway for these models. The S2068 is a compulsory recall.
