We’ve switched our magazine packaging from plastic to paper. If you’re a Consumer NZ member, you’ll now get your issue in a recyclable paper envelope.
Why change? It’s simple: we need to reduce plastic waste.
After looking at other packaging options, we decided paper was the best environmental choice. When we surveyed members, the majority of those who had a preference (60%) also said they wanted paper packaging.
Paper envelopes are slightly more expensive than the plastic wrap we had been using. However, while many members said they were willing to pay more, we’re absorbing this cost.
